Crafts Instructor Training Scheme-NSTI(w) Mohali
National Skill Training Institute (W) , Mohali is conducting 2 courses under Craftsman Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) under the agies of NCVT in the following trades:-

Programme structure: The duration of crafts instructor training is one year.
Combination of Subjects: The following subjects are covered
- Trade Technology (Comprising of Basic & Advanced components of trade practice and theory)
- Vocational Calculation & Science / Soft Skills
- Training Methodology (Comprising of Teaching Practice and Principles of Teaching)
Start of session: Normally 1st August of every year.
SELECTION: Admission is done through the All India Common Entrance Test which is conducted centrally by DGT HQ. The selected candidates through AICET got admission at various NSTI's across the country.
Eligibility for Admission: NCVT certificate in the relevant trade or Diploma/Degree from a recognized Board of Technical Education/University or Equivalent.
Age limit: Minimum not specified, No upper age limit
Passing Criterion & Award of Certificate: The candidates have to appear in the final theory and practical examinations conducted by NCVT, New Delhi in June/July every year. On passing the prescribed exam, trainees will be awarded the Instructor training Certificate from NCVT. A candidate has to secure a minimum of 60 % in Trade Theory, 60% in POT, 60% in VCS and 60% in Trade Practical.

Working Hours : From 08.00 am to 4.30 pm with half hour lunch break on all working days(Monday to Friday).
